ABOUT ME
I love exploring new things and being creative in different ways. Lately, I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with GenAI.
At work, I use visuals—charts, maps, mock-ups, and prototypes—to drive decisions, align stakeholders, and communicate clearly. I enjoy navigating ambiguity and building new things. As an honest collaborator, I ask questions and voice opinions. With a background in HCI and Industrial Design, I bridge design thinking, user behavior, and visual design, guided by logic.
Music is my cure 🎵
Music is one of the most important accompanies in my life. I enjoy music regardless of genres and media. I love playing the piano, singing, playing the ukulele, and going to live events. I also tried to make my own music —— but just for pleasing myself. The audio below is me playing one of my original songs. Hope you also enjoy :D
I love creating visuals 🎨
I fell in love with drawing when I first picked up a crayon at the age of three. I love creating visuals with my hands and imagination!
I design for culture
Passionate about traditional Chinese culture, I visited a rural village in China to learn about the art of indigo dyeing. Afterward, I helped a local blue-dye business modernize its products and services while preserving its cultural heritage 👇
I stayed 3 days in Zhoucheng (the indigo-dye village), Yunnan, China
Two of my classmates and I innovated the product design for the traditional indigo-dye business
We also helped the business redesign the customer experiencing of “trying indigo-dye yourself”, and increased the number of visitors by 29% during pilot run
and social good ❤️
I volunteered to teach music at a special school in Changsha, China, after which I designed a learning tool for visually impaired students. The design was awarded the red dot award 2020 👇
I was teaching blind students music at Changsha Special School in 2020
During the voluntary work, I discovered that blind students have difficulties taking notes in class and structuring knowledge, so I designed a learning recorder for them
The final design was awarded the Red Dot Award 2020 - please check the video below if you are interested in how the product works
